funkwerks: packaging design & brand development
After updating Funkwerks' bottle labels, I collaborated closely with their marketing team to spearhead the transition to cans. My goal was to make a significant impact, as the brand had the same labeled glass bottles for nearly a decade. The new can designs, featuring bold monochromatic colors and captivating patterns, not only brought the brand into 2020 but with small details also fostered a deeper connection with consumers. This packaging update extended to additional packaging varieties, facilitating to-go sales during the pandemic.
The packaging rebrand resulted in a 35% increase in package sales in Colorado in 2020.
